Hi

I want to get a lens with more reach. The Sigma 55-200 seems quite cheap but I can't find a review anywhere. Does anyone have this lens or know where theres a review??

thanks Justine - had seen those but they are really only press releases rather than reviews.

They also do a 18-55mm, which would be much wider than my 28-80mm. They do them in a pack. They are cheap and the F stops don't look so good, but then I never really use the extremem arpertures. The key thing for me would be how quick they are. Don't need to be lightening quick - but need to be able to take picks of moving objects without too much hassle....

bump

I'm looking for reviews on this lens now, as well as the 18-55 lens because the camera I am thinking of buying (Nikon D100) is being offered with these 2 lenses as a package deal. Help? I can't seem to find any reviews anywhere!

SIGMA 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC LENS
SIGMA 55-200mm f4-5.6
