Hey all...n00b here on the site, and noticed that the community is very good at being helpful and honest with people asking for opinions. I feel like it's important not to beat people into the ground...but also to be VERY honest with them, or you're not helping them improve as photographers. If their shots are just ok, but everyone tells them they're great, then they will never grow beyond "just ok". On the other side, if they're pretty good, but people just bash on the negative, they could get discouraged.
That being said, I would be honored if I could receive some critical/constructive comments about ANY aspect of my photography either in general or about ANY specific image. Brief background...took a photo course in high school on B&W which helped give me a nice foundation, and was away for decades from serious amteur photography but recently was able to obtain some nice equipment (as listed in my profile) and have re-caught the photo-bug. I'm a professional artist and (as mentioned) amateu photographer. My favorite subjects are birds, but I'm beginning to branch into other ideas also. I have uploaded some of my portfolio on here (not nearly all...I'm even behind updating my zenfolio account), and I'll post some thumbnails here of the photos I feel are amongst my best. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes any amount of time to share their thoughts about ANY individual photo or my photography in general.
