I tried to change my profile picture, and on my preferences page, it shows the one I want...but on my profile it still shows the old one. A sniveling and stupid complaint, I know, but i recently decided that the profile pic I had there was undoubtedly a horrible picture (it has my face in it), so it must go.

hold down the shift key and refresh your page - it will clear the cache and your pic will update.

ps (mine shows a picture of your foot)

I know this is probably a silly question but did you click save changes at the bottom of the preferences page?

Have you tried holding down the shift key while clicking the refresh button? It may be that an old version of the page is cached on your machine.
When I look at yoru rofile page I am seeing a "legs only" shot. Is this your new or old photo?

If shift+refresh doesnt work on that page, try doing shift+refresh on the image URL itself: //www.dpchallenge.com/images_profile/10918.jpg

Not seeing your face in your profile picture so I'm guessing it HAS worked and you simply haven't refreshed your pages, as suggested above...
