Sure is... except of course when it isn't!
What I mean of course, is that *optically* 50mm is always 50mm, but how we perceive it greatly depends on the format. For a P&S 50mm is a moderately long telephoto. For MF it's a moderately wide angle.

| I'd think this would be a good challenge. Push yourself to take a shot with a 50mm prime. Minimal editing makes it even better as you now have to really think before you shoot. |

I actually really like this idea. We have constrained ourselves in challenges to particular techniques or even shooting with our eyes closed, but we have never yet been constrained to a particular focal length.
Should be fun! |
