I have about 40 photography apps on my iPhone.
I'd estimate that at least 15 of them do something similar to Instagram (albeit perhaps not as easily or quickly) -
but seriously, 1 Billion $ ? That's what Facebook bought instagram for? |

I have a feeling that facebook saw instagram as a threat...so they bought it and I bet the company will be liquidated.

It must have been based on how many users they had.
But again - what makes it so much better than other Apps (kind of rhetorical I guess ;) â€Â¦ |

| The funny part is, it's the only app I have found that actually FORCES you to crop your photos into a square. Interesting that such a limitation would help an app become so popular? â€Â¦ |

| Data mining, Big Brother... I killed mine and after re-organizing my life, kill Facebook too. No conspiratorial suggestions, just that I have that special gut feel I came to trust more than my mamma! |

For those with an Android phones, Instagram is now available to download.
I only did this last night so haven't had much of a chance to see how good it is.

do i need to adds instagram processing to my list with wine glasses and waterdrops that get automatic 1's? |
