So my coffee met my Macbook Pro and the keyboard isn't functioning well and it's having some other problems.
Would this be something I can submit to homeowners insurance? I just don't have the cash to replace this & I'm not going to go into debt to replace it either. What say you?

my mac book pro suffered a similar large glass of red wine incident, opened it sprayed it with electrical cleaning solution dried it out, new keyboard was £33 and i fitted it sorted it been fine since, changing keyboard is really easy on them although i used to fix multi million dollar servers hehe |

Fixing it yourself isn't horribly expensive, but it will be a rich cup of coffee. |

Considering what the deductible is on most home insurance in this area, and the following increase in premiums, I wouldn't even consider contacting my insurance agent.
Anything under a grand is not worth the time or effort.

You'll end up paying more in the long run due to higher premiums. |

Unless your house burns down or some other catastrophic damage, avoid a HO claim at all costs. |
