gyaban's photos are what got me really into photography . I just happened to come by his photo [thumb]//www.dpchallenge.com/images/pix.gif[/thumb] and loved it .. now I'm a member and also loosing sleep when a challenge comes up that I want to enter , which is all of them ... LOL You give inspiration and motivation .. Your Wife ROCKS also .. you deserve the praise !!! :)

I believe this is a record no one has done before here in DPC and I don't think it can be broken until this site goes down with flames in 15 years or so.
 Gyaban Registered: Feb. 25th 2010
last 4 ribbons out of 5 is 8+
Challenges Entered: only 146, 61 ribbons, second place of all time record after  IreneM, which was registered in 2006
If there would be a DPC head quarters other than top of  langdon's sock drawer, I would ask for a gyaban bust and place it there, call it a member of hall of fame #1
A book will come out in the future, named "PS Master Pieces by Christophe Kiciak"... I am sure of it.

(This week's Thursday challenge is a minimal editing rules... I would NOT be surprise if he gets into winning column once again... like this one

So, I was in the mood for some more Christophe adulation...
Do you realize that of the 146 challenges he's entered, only 16 of them have scores under 6?????? And that his lowest score EVER was 5.5337????

That's 16 more than I thought. I'm guessing none of them are expert editing. He probably has a 7.7 average in those. |

| i think one of the reasons gyaban is so special to this site is because he makes all his own images from his own photographs that were taken in that 7-precious-day period of the challenge... something that i'm sure is rather rare even in the PS expert world of photography. |
