| Hello everyone! After a long break I have returned to DPC. I plan on being a regular again. And I still suck. LOL I just suck in a more experienced way. :) |

The 1000 refers to challenges completed ... I have four photos currently in voting and two pending submissions awaiting rollover, Grunge II was only announced last night after I had to retire (I go to work at 5 am), and it's too soon to commit to a Free Study submission ... anything else I can do for you? ;-) |

And will I'm still here in the hotel, I also want to congratulate  posthumous with his first ribbon

Henk, I hate to see you rattling around in this big empty hotel. So I'll join you for a while.
My scores have been all over the place lately. The top ten, the yellow ribbon, an almost brown for Money (56/58), and currently: a 5.0, a 4.6, and a 6.2. Wendy has figured out what the voters like, but it seems I never will. Of course, I'm not belittling Wendy's accomplishments, I'm constantly amazed at her creativivity. |

Thanks Julianne and I fully agree with you about Wendy. She's doing great, just don't have the time to give her a compliment with every top 10 finish :)
And, a question for all the Team Suck members (just curious, not fishing for complements, call it an survey), are you still interested in the "Team Suck Challenge Results Strike Back" posts? Personally I like it, but I'm just wondering how you think about it.

Ok, here's some news for Team Suck (Henk, Kelli, Deb and a few other Facebook friends already know part of this.)
1. This photo will be in the Boca Raton Art Museum this summer as part of the All Florida Annual Juried Art Exhibition.
2. This photo will be at the Cornell Museum of Art in Delray Beach in the art school annual student exhibit.
3. This is my first attempt at Out of Bounds photo processing. I got the idea from sfalice, and she helped me find a tutorial. It's always fun trying something new.
4. And for those who haven't seen it yet, this is a book I put together with my photos illustrating my husband's poetry.
Beached The preview only shows the first fifteen pages.
So that's what's been going on with me lately. Sorry I've been rather absent from this thread.

It was a little easier for me, because my tastes are pretty mainstream. That's why I wanted to come here -- to learn how to be not mainstream.
The good news is: my tasted have expanded exponentially! I'm really appreciating more and more of the abstract, funky, out of the box stuff. The bad news is, I still don't do it myself -- except when a specific abstract, funky challenge comes about. I just haven't figured out how to train my mind to see the possibilities.
huge congrats, Julianne!! How exciting!! Someday you'll have to teach me what to do with my stuff. It all just sits on my computer, and it never gets sent anywhere. Except once a year at the state fair competition (and the state fair went bankrupt -- so there is no state fair anymore) and once a year sent in to Virginia Wildlife magazine for their competition. I don't even know where to start...
