That's awesome for people starting out! Actually, I am going to have to let a friend know, her daughter is so completely interested in photography, she's using a P&S right now, but wants to upgrade. This would be a great deal for them!!!

same here, i just let someone know about it. I used to have an XS and its a fantastic beginner camera.
