I've never been accepted at 1x.
...come to think of it, I've never been rejected by them either.

Congrats, Wendy! It's apparently a huge honor that clearly eclipses your 38 ribbons and 15 HM's on DPC. ;-)

Another mountain climbed. And considering the fact that I'm terribly out of shape -- mountains are a big deal. :D

If your image doesn't make the cut do they send you an email or what is the process?
And roughly how long does the whole process take (accepted / not accepted)

I have 'em rejected in 3 hours and rejected in 2 weeks. I've had 'em accepted in 2 days and in a week. They send you nada, whether you are in or out.

I've had an upload in process for about a week now...

Yeah, they use to send you emails. I still can't figure out why in the world they stopped doing that. You don't need a human to generate them.

I have uploaded one.
Not expecting anything but just wondering seeing all the discussion on it.

I'm using the same name over there as here so if it hits the page everyone will know.

(edit: I don't think I am using the same name, think it is my actual name)

I would say 'finger crossed' but it's not a big deal.
I'm in awe of most of the images over there so not really expecting that I will make the cut.

You should have sent them stuff a few years back. I had my first 7 or 10 photos selected. I forget what the streak was but now I'm something like 0 for 19. Most of it has been my newer stuff, which of course now sucks as far as pop photography goes.
