Never photograph anyone in Texas without their consent if they are attractive.

Not a problem. I only take pictures of ugly people. (Now I just offended everyone I know.)

I have noticed you take a lot of self portraits.

But not for the purposes of sexual gratification or arousal. Right, Spiff? ...Spiff??

There's probably an App to make photos non-arousing. So be sure to use that if you're taking street candids in Texas with your iPhone.

There's a Photoshop filter that does the same thing. I think it's called the Spiffilter.

That's it! For threads like this LOL just isn't cutting it anymore...

SCON

Splutter Coffee Out Nose

You don't know arousal until you've gone out in public wearing neon spandex.

Why don't we just send all the prudes to Texas and fence them in. I think the state is large enough to handle them.

What about rule 34? That would indicate that taking anyone's picture in Texas would be illegal...

I hear Texas is considering a new state motto: "We hate cameras and the photographers that use them"

They would still find some reason to be suspicious of each other.

Here's some more insanity in the news.

Absolutely ridiculous.
Really? A ban?

So just make sure you include SOMETHING in your photo, a brick wall, a mailbox, a dog... anything... and say "Don't flatter yourself, it was the mailbox I was photographing, you just happened to get in the way, thanks for ruining the shot". That might shut them up.

This is all so horrible. Has it always been this bad...this stupid?

Are not enough of us voting? How do we get common sense injected back into our laws? How??

But what if this mailbox you mentioned is a sexy mailbox.

if you'd like... you could ask the mailbox... as I'm sure it wouldn't have any objections.

So what's left in Texas then? If we can't photograph sexy mailboxes and truck mudguards.
Scratch that off my list of places to visit soon. :P

You can shoot at will in Texas, just not with cameras.
