I just got my new tripod and head. Vanguard head and manfrotto carbon fiber legs. The entire setup weighs nothing and it is extremely stable. I am surprises how stable it is. I am happier than a pig in sh!%...pardon the expression but I am from the south.

| So which model did you get of the legs, and the head? I have the nice carbon 055 legs, but I'm not as happy about my Manfrotto head (though I like the fact that I already have a lot of the plates since my last tripod used them (and I still use that too). |

the legs are the 055 manfrotto
the head is a vanguard BBH 100
