So far, so bad.

I found a free download page on their website and decided to be brave. I assumed it would give me some very limited options so that I become interested and want to buy the rest (rather than a trial period).

So far, I haven't been able to install it. Or, to be more specific, everything appears to be installing just fine, but then it doesn't show up in Photoshop.

I have watched some of their videos, so I know where I SHOULD be seeing it. I have restarted Photoshop and rebooted the computer. I hope I didn't just install something very nasty, instead :-(

I've had the same problem. I've installed it a couple of times and it just won't show up. Don't know what to do about it.

i think this is legitimate software, as i found several professional reviews for it, but i wanted to get some "hands on" feedback from the DPC community before shelling out the $$$

maybe check the system requirements?

Depending on your version of photoshop, you may have to go to File - Automate to find it. I was having a hard time finding it (I use the freebie version of it). I had used the full version trial with CS2 with no problems, but couldn't make the freebies work in it. Never did figure that out. But it might have been the same issue. When they upgraded them, they were no longer plug-ins.

Brilliant, Kelli, that was the answer!!!!

According to their instruction video, there should be a button on the horizontal toolbar next to the "Window", but that never happened.

I just tried it your way and it seems to be working - thank you!

Mark, I would suggest getting the free version and trying it out.
There are limited effects available, but you'll get a feel for how it works.

In MY opinion, it feels more like a version of "picnik" (although better looking)and there are a number of things I dislike about it, but your mileage may vary.

I've used the whole suite with CS4 for about a year. Great stuff. Primarily I like the PhotoTools.

I've used the free version of Photo Tools for a couple years and quite like it. But since I got Nik's Color Efex Pro I have not felt the need for it.

I've recently bought Perfect Photo Suite. It has installed, when I try to use it the photo pops up briefly then goes away. From the trouble shooting page I'm pretty sure my problem is I need an upgraded video card. I'm going to get computer whiz son-in-law to help when he can. But another problem is that since I installed this new software, my Photo Tools won't work anymore. I get a message that the background service is missing (error -63) whatever all that means. I suppose I should take it all up with onOne support, but I want to see if son-in-law can fix the lot.
