If you live in the areas that do such an activity.

Even if your area does not observe this bi-annual tradition, dpc does.

So, set your clocks, and while you're at it, check your camera to make sure the date is set correctly.

I hate DST. I vote we get rid of it!

eta: Roenneberg's studies show that our circadian body clocks never adjust to gaining an "extra" hour of sunlight at the end of the day during daylight saving time.

"The consequence of that is that the majority of the population has drastically decreased productivity, decreased quality of life, increasing susceptibility to illness, and is just plain tired," Roenneberg said.

I haven't had to do this in years. Your clocks must be dumb. :P

daylight savings time doesn't force you to plan carefully your time and you have to make sure the lighting is right for your endeavors.

DST is the lazy way out for those don't want to have to deal with adverse lighting conditions, we just say, "oh we'll just change the clocks".

I loved DST when I was a kid and it was light until 9pm. Now I don't like it, and not just because it's "change."

The sun sets at 9pm with DST and 6pm without. Why change what nature is already changing in seasons?

You change the clocks an hour and the sun sets 3 hours later. I don't get it!

I like DST. It give me more daylight, thus a larger window to take pictures.

You still get the same amount. I'm a morning person, so I prefer my light in the morning.

I have a bedside clock that I bought a couple of years before DST changed and the old DST is hardwired into it to happen automatically. Now I have to manually change the time when DST occurs and a few weeks later when the clock thinks it should occur and changes on its own. But I like the clock.

Looking forward to the time change. Now I can get some decent bike rides during the evenings again. Once it stops raining. (I think we are going to have a flood year to make up for last year's drought.)

Well, I was just starting to drive to work in the light, now I'll be back to darkness for a while. I drive about 50 mins on a long, dark highway. Lots of deer, way better if there's some exxtra light!

I don't wear a wristwatch. I wake at dawn light each day. Saves the DST conversion stress. It's all about the light.

All us Eurozone folk have another 2 weeks to go. Hope people don't miss rollover:). It will be 6.00 am for me instead of 7.00 , so I must not leave it until the last minute if I am going to enter.

Solution... Lean on your horn all the way to work and save the deer. Great idea eh?

Solution: Drink copious amounts of alcohol, feel like total shit tomorrow... and you will (by comparison) feel fantastic from that day forward.

Good idea eh?
