| With an 800 pixel maximum, I suspect a panorama crop would be at a disadvantage, but other than that, is there any reason not to enter one? ie is this crop shape against the rules in minimal, basic, advanced or expert editing? Tried to search, but just turned up a lot of interesting but irrelevant threads :) |

| Think it's fine for the rules but reckon the voters might have a thing to say about an 800*150 pixel image in the way of voting :( |

Panorama would be an interesting challenge. They would have to allow for a wider pic though...The 800pixel width wouldnt work

Per the rules it has to be at least 160 pixels tall ... :-)
One reason people "letterbox" images is so that their panoramic crop won't be so obvious -- my guess is that almost every challenge has one or two images which are a 2:1 aspect ratio if you don't count any borders.

I agree -- personally, I'd like a challenge with a special rule allowing a 1600 x 800 x 500KB maximum image size.
