Outtake:

The outtake layered three shots in PS..one a long exposure to get the blur, the other two to get static images. The technique is illegal so I had to re-do the shot using a single exposure...in a dark room I used a handheld flash twice to get the static bits, and to get the blur I light-painted the edge of the turntable.

I couldn't quite duplicate the outtake, which I think is much better.

Usually, a turntable photo has is focused on the stylus. I wanted the focus to be the rim, which is half-blurred and half static. Like music. Dynamic and immediate.

I actually liked my outtake better but in it you can see the rubber coathanger aid on my top peeking through my hair, plus my right eye is a bit darker.

Here is an edit of my shot where I used differing poses to create an art piece for a friends birthday. Very Small File (less than 50k)

entry disappointed with Finnish in rrelation to comments, anyone care to throw some criticism at me please :) (edit for spelling)

I actually liked your entry very much! Gave it an 8. I thought it was great. The best choice out of the outtakes, IMO

I very much like your fiddle picture, it draws me in a little more. I'm also more fond of fiddles than I am ukes, so maybe I'm biased.
