looking at some of my recent work, i was wondering if there has even been something along the lines of

Create an image with terrible post-processing

I wouldn't enter a challenge that I am purposely trying to make the image bad. Wouldn't say much for you if that got out with your name attached to it.

I don't know if I would agree with that comment... there are some efforts called "Art" that might meet the very criteria you refer to...then again, perhaps their intentions are simply misunderstood.

ok, so how about an "over-processed" challenge. i mean, people seem to compete for the brown almost every challenge... might be nice for them to get a REAL ribbon for their efforts! ;-)

I think we already had an HDR challenge or two. :D

Most of the expert editing challenges I'm in awe of the top few entries. As for your other question, I think Matt's already answered it =).
