When I was younger, my dad told me that if you picked up a skunk by the tail real fast, it wouldn't be able to spray... Guess I just wasn't fast enough eh.

Ive gone Deer hunting with this one.....Plus I love target practice. This is known as a bloody rifle. It was made in the Moscow armory 2 months before the battle of Moscow. The weapon has been fired so many times that the boring has been burned out of the last 1/2" of the barrel...Great rifle and still very accurate.

Those things are everywhere these days. Surplus ammo too.
One of my friends went to a "military" action rifle competition with his. Everyone else had some kind of AR variant...he got smoked on time, but every shot was a hit. |

I reload my own shells
I also have a WW2 German Mauser....Never fired (I'm kindof scared to) When it was given to me for serving in Iraq it still had cosmoline (I prob misspelled that) on the bayonet.

the primers in the surplus stuff are usually corrosive, so reloading is good.
I'd be afraid to fire one, think it might go from rifle to grenade when I pulled the trigger. I won't even shoot my granddad's .22 he bought in 1918

Ahhh. Then I'd just keep it as is. Or, work up a low power load. I like to shoot my guns, but that's what I buy them for.
