no and no, its mechanical see the pully on the back and the frame in the background of the second picture, i was changing the backplate as it had sheered its mountings in its day to day job, there is also something else in the back ground of second pic which should give it away

Well, it's got something to do with a Briggs & Stratton small engine, if the logo in the back's any indication...

getting very warm, and bears right it is a briggs and stratton power unit so the vice is holding something isn't it ;)

think thats good enough its the 90 degree transfer box and reduction gear to drive the mixing drum at a slow torquey rotation, pulley driven from petrol engine
