Nope, and nope! I just "tested" my cousin, who is *very* familiar with local flora, and she could not get it. So here is another alternative view (a little later in the development of the bloom):
Part of the flower should now look familiar, in shape and color, and may provide enough of a hint. I'm headed out for a while, and if no one is on the trail when I return, I'll have to give some bigger hints.

I'd say cylinder head alignment pin but can't think of a problem it could cause to an assembled engine. edit. Unless it got assembled in the cylinder.. :P

5.9-liter Cummins engine dowel pin to align gear case/timing cover assembles to the engine block.
