if anyone is interested. Adorama has this lens on sale for $649 with a mail in rebate of $40 so after rebate, it'll be $609. No sure how long the sale goes for.

I checked B&H and Amazon, they both have the lens listed for $699.

I've never owned one but know friends that have it and love it, so I got one on order.

I own this lens for Nikon and have been very pleased with it. Very sharp across entire frame and good contrast.
