Tools for an old printing press?
|

Nope. Bigger...much bigger. I believe the wrenches are as long as my arm. |

Used on an older ship, perhaps to maintain boilers or steam fittings? |

Not a ship. Object is on land.
But...that was an awesome guess.

Wild guess: tools for maintaining the tower clock or bell in the Freiburger Münster Cathedral?
|

Yes. I take it you looked at my profile and matched up the date.
These are tools for servicing the bells of the Freiburg Münster shown here against the sunset sky:

Indeed so, and I've learned a bit about Freiburg, too. Thanks for the additional photos.
I'll have a photo up in a short while, unless someone would like to take a turn.
(edit to correct typo...)

Couldn't resist that one. I just trued up a wheel on a Schwinn Sidewinder a couple of nights ago, so it looked familiar. BRB with another photo.
What are they holding, or what is it part of?
I'm going to bed, so it will be around 8: Eastern before I get back on line. If someone wants to post another image to keep things moving, feel free to do so, and we can pick this one up again in the morning.
