Sure, if you eat coffee. Most people I know drink it. (That's not to say that coffee is not somehow connected to this apparatus.)

I'm sticking with the cat hair ball filter, I never got a direct answer that it was wrong! But I should add that it filters the cat hair balls for your smoothies!
