I had some awesome shots for strength. I shot them in RAW mode, low and behold I cant convert them. Problem is my computer. It's been going haywire, deleting programs and whatever else it feels like. I tried reinstalling the canon utilities, no luck. No more RAW shooting until I get a new computer. *sigh*

Download breezebrowser, //www.breezesys.com. It converts them better than the Canon program (even though it uses the Canon libraries) |

Hrm, I just open up RAW images in photoshop 7 and it does it fine. Doesnt give it the huge choices you get with other programs, but I can fine tune it a little.

I think at some point in time I may have downloaded a plugin for PS that allows me, I'm not sure. I just double click on the image and it opens it up.

How old is the computer and how long have you been running the Operating system? Ever re-install it?
You may just need to clean the HD off and do a fresh install.
I have had people with the same problem. They had run the setup for so long that junk just builds up in the system and starts going haywire.
