| If I take an image, export it into iPhone and put it through one of the apps I have and then finish it off in say, LR; will it be okay under advanced rules? I am sure it should be okay for expert (Definition of EXPERT = a has-been drip under pressure) challenges. How about Advanced? Any thoughts? |

| depends on what you are doing to it. advanced doesn't specify what software you can use, only what types of edits. |

Thx Mike. Example my profile pic; I use the iPhone to give me the grunge look. There are no removals, no partial process, only the whole image processed. is another example. this one too. The not do, but what about the three girls and my image?

you have to be careful in both basic and advanced that you don't push filters too far (basic its illegal). someone else may need to weigh in but i always thought that once the image starts looking more like a painting than a pictures that's a no-no. If it is legal you might get killed in voting.

Thanks Bro, I will have to really have a look into this. Just thought I can have grunge and lomo done this way as I do not have the ability to do layers.
