I've used google docs for years and never received a phishing warning...humm!
It doesn't record you ip or username. I make the form and I get to see the results in spreadsheet and graph form. I will post the results.

Thanks for voting.

Not voting because I think the variable "best" is insufficiently-defined to have any meaning in this context ...

Also, your question should probably read "manufacturer" and not "manufacture" ...

agree 100% but the other way around...

What is the point of this?

Although I have Canon I voted Nikon as I had one in the past and it had great optics. On my current level (confused intermediate amateur)it most likely does not matter which one I have. The main reason that I have Canon is that it was first to market with a DSLR and changing brands with lenses is so much hassle. This is the same reason I did not get a Macbook - too much hassle to change from a PC.

I voted, but if there had been a "they both have their advantages" I would've chosen that.
I think they're both super solid platforms, you just throw your money in different ways when you adopt one or the other.

I will be interested in seeing the outcome, but since I have only used Canon I did not cast a vote.

I cast a vote even though I've never used Canon. Show a bit of patriotism to your chosen brand!!!!!! (and it is only a bit of fun)

Hmm just realised, my point and shoot is a Canon, oh well.

Yes!!! I just posted this for fun. Fully aware the results would not be within a reasonable margin of error.
Just having a little fun :)

I am a very reasonably savvy PC person - I built my own desktop PC last year. The reason was that I wanted a very quiet PC and it turned out that building my own was the best way to get it.

win7 does a pretty good job of that, without the hassle to find out that this or that piece of hardware will not actually have a driver at all, and without paying the name price to Apple :)
and without having to play around with vm or double boot everytime I need a win only software.. I guess it really depends on what you needs are.

Win7 actually does an incredible job with drivers, when you realize that it has to support a *huge* number of possible configurations. As an example of just how well it does, last year I had a hardware issue that caused me to decide to update the box, complete with a new motherboard and processor, different memory, & new hard drives. Just for grins, I hooked up the old hard drives (RAID0 array) as my boot drive and hit the switch. It took a little while for Win7 to configure itself for the new hardware, but away it went. This particular installation of Win7 began with Vista, was upgraded to Win7 beta, upgraded again to Win7 final(not an official path, by the way, Microsoft wanted a fresh install). The only time it needs to be rebooted is after system updates, typically weeks between, sometimes a month or more.
