| This is amazing! Portraits is my favorite form of photography. This is a great tool to give ideas on wardobe, hairstyle and makeup. Thanks for the link! |

Notice that the subject lighting is all (or almost all) straightforward butterfly

wow. really shows you how much lighting (and perhaps a little PS) can really do for a portrait. Makes we want to learn a thing or too more...

No kidding. The mouth creases are super prominent on several of those women and all but gone in the final. There's something at work changing that, and it isn't just that the "before" photos are purposefully unflattering. I think there's a good deal more at work here. |
