For years I have been using this fisherman jacket (actually, a military jacket very popular with fisherman, I think).
It had plenty of pockets, which came really handy to keep filters, lenses and other stuff handy. It wasn't too weird looking or bulky, so it could be used as an everyday coat, and had removable sleeves, which is great in summer.
Now it's really falling apart and I couldn't find the same model in any shop.
Can anybody suggest anything similar?

If it's military, why not try going to a military surplus? I've got one in my city that I actually need to go to tomorrow morning anyway to exchange something. If you describe it I could see if I could find something similar for you there? They do have a website, but it doesn't list all their products, by a longshot //www.jaxmercantile.com/government-surplus/. Not sure where you live and if that would be feasible.
Domke makes tons of that stuff though- lots of vests and one jacket //www.tiffen.com/results.html?search_type_no=439&tablename=domke
They seem to sell for a good deal less than the list price.

But I live the other side of the ocean, so a bit too far away.
Actually, yes, I think the place were I got it was a military surplus shop in Italy, now sadly closed.
I think I'll scout a few surplus shops once back in London, perhpas I can find something on the cheap (Tiffen's ones looks like the business but a bit over my budget).

Thanks Robert, it looks nice and they also have other interesting stuff.
Even at US $38.00 shipping it might stay a good deal, unless they have some EU outlet, I am checking now.
