For the last few days everytime I try to log in I get directed to a russian site, someone told me it was a virus but kind of a virus is it that works only on dpc. I was able to open the site by openning explorer instead of my usual firefox or chrome.

Sounds like a virus to me, and I would suggest that you also remove the link in case someone follows it and ends up with the same problem.
If you're logging into any other sites, in particular your bank etc, go to another computer, change all your passwords immediately and then come back to the problem at hand.
To solve, the safe way is to reformat and reinstall, but if you don't have backups or can't do that, get a good virus scanner / malware scanner and do a full scan to see what turns up. Microsoft Security Essentials should do the job. |

It looks like a recent problem. The solution seems to be to delete All Cookies and History, clear All Forms.

| After deleting the infected cookies and clearing cache, I recommend using OpenDNS and add the offending website to the "always block" list. Don't go to that website again, or your problem will reoccur. |
