Slippy my camera writes my name in the EXIF files and I keep all my original files. Hard drive space is so cheap now.

I have mine set up to show my name, mailing address, and copyright symbol in EXIF (in the "Owner" field).

Also, whenever I back up my files to CD, I print thumbnails of each folder's images (like an old contact print) to a PDF file -- it also shows the directory path, date and image number -- and put that on the CD with the images. I'm hoping that dated files on contemporaneously-made read-only media will be proof enough.
