good score i have 5 great comments though. I'm scoring right about where i expected it to, however the early high score and comments have my hope ups, but i don't think it will get to ribbon territory, top ten is in range though.

According to the tracker, I've only had one vote of 2 or below. But I've had some 4s and lots of 5s, so I've dropped about .4 total.

I think it's just because many people don't appreciate blur. I know when I first started, this wouldn't have been a challenge I would have enjoyed. Now I think it's fun.


True to a degree, but blur done professionally always amazes me, and there are some people who give 'blur' a bad name.

I have just read one of my comments and i was just wondering. The challenge is motion blur and not " Add as much motion blur as you possibly can" isn't it????

just personal taste i guess

ive got to vote on this one and do my comments but it'll be tomorrow night when im home with my boy, some good looking shots looking at the thumbnails

mines currently 5.94 which would make it my pb if so, fingers crossed trying to break a 6 is my current goal.

my photo looks much better in the thumbnail than at full size... ;-(

i'm sitting in meh!-diocre mid-5's

oh well, i'm sure i'll score bigtime with my balloon entry! ;-)

Started off with a 6.2ish.

I really wanted to spot-edit some bits and pieces of flare & reflections out of the image and then pass it off as sensor dust edit, but I left it and it's killing me.

On this matter, people generally overestimate their own psychic ability to connect correctly the timing of a comment or post with (what is more likely) an ill-timed vote by someone else. Votes and comments don't necessarily go hand-in-hand and I doubt my hand was holding a "3" for your image or any other given the 6.5 average I voted for this challenge.

I really appreciated a lot of the shots here. With all the varieties of motion blur out there I was surprised that only a few were highly represented. It also seemed that some people were kind of shy with their motion blur. . .which I don't get. . .but, lots of great shots.
