To sort of continue with the mode thread...... I take my camera with me literally everywhere. Right now I'm at work, and it's on my desk by my right hand where I don't even have to look at it to grab it. It sits on the console in my car, on the table in the center of my living room.....the most central place.
Where's yours?

At home on my tripod... not really feasible to bring it where I work and I don't want to leave it in my car. |

Ok, fine... I'll admit it - the 50D, the 20D, the D60 and several others are in the closet, in a bag, and haven't been touched in months... The S95 however is on my desk and is used regularly. |

Which one? The Canon 30D, 40D, and Sigma SD14 are at home on my desk.
The Lumix ZS-10 is in my pocket.
The iPad 2 is in my hands.

On my backpack, right next to me, in my office... I've been pushing myself for some time now to get used to carry it everywhere I go... Some discipline... :) |

My DSLR is in it's camera bag under my desk, but only because I am doing product photography at work this week. Normally, it's at home and the G11 is in my laptop bag.

My dslr is patiently waiting in my camera bag on the floor by my feet, while I finish some business. Planning to venture out in mild weather this afternoon, so it should experience some actuations. My iPhone4S is on my hip, going with me wherever and whenever. |

Mine are at home.
Can't have cameras at work due to "security concerns" (I have cameras in my iPhone...but logic isn't security's strong point, following protocol is.)
I could leave it in my car, but even though the lot is "secure" sometimes things disappear.

i have a big lowepro back pack and all gear lives in there, in my home office. then have a mini loewpro and a record back type camera bag. but i take my 20d and efs 18-85 with me to work everyday. i drive diggers and work on dirty building sites so leave my 5d at home. |

Sitting right here next to the computer until 3 mins ago, when I put it back in the bag. The bag's over yonder against the wall. It's all pretty cozy here...

Right now... it's within reach cause I am playing with my brand new refurbished 24-105L :-)
Normally... well... it's in a room in the house with various pieces in other rooms..... I would like to say it's all organized with everything in it's place but that's just crap...... It could be any damn where.
I don't carry a camera everywhere when outside (although often) - and rarely to the office. I used to take it a bit to the office thinking I would run out after work for all the cool stuff in the city.... but I usually am mentally dead by the end of the day, so stopped carrying it into the office. |

Sitting safe and sound in its Lowepro backpack on the floor next to my dresser. My workplace doesn't have the space to stash it safely, nor is it camera-friendly. And I sure as hell don't like leaving it in the car while I'm at work. |

My camera is pouting in the camera bag and still hasn't forgiven me for indelicately dropping it on a hard cement floor. :-( |

One D1x in the backpack next to me, other D1x in another bag in my other room. Backpack travels with me everywhere I go... even if I take 2 cameras from work for a job, my camera follows me anyways.
so... is my addiction curable doctor? |

Mine sits at home unless I'm specifically going out to shoot. Can't have it at work. So it sits by the desk, or on the desk, and patiently waits for the chance to go out and play! (And gets covered in cat hair whilst waiting...) |

Oh come on, Deb, where is the LX3 while all this sadness is going on? |
