Seems just like yesterday that I got a film SLR to replace one that had been stolen 10 years earlier. Well, that yesterday was about 10 years ago.
A couple weeks ago I ran across a box of old CDs and as I was checking through them, I realized that since I had plenty of storage space I might as well load them up. I also realized that other than my immediate family, most of them had never seen the light of day. So I started building me an archive...
For the most part, these are just regular snapshots, taken by an avid hobbyist. Nothing special. A few gems here and there, and plenty of stuff that my Mom and wife like, but nothing really setting the world on fire.
I really think dpc was what made the difference for me, allowing me and forcing me to concentrate on what I was doing, rather than just doing what I had been doing the previous 20-30 years. While I don't have time for challenges or much else, I'll just have to let my limited participation here, especially in this forum section, be my way of saying "Thanks, dpc!"
Anyway, here's proof that anyone who wants to can do it...
