| My 5.27 start confirms me that DPC voters always love standard images and rarely appreciate something even slightly different from that. This is not a problem. Challenges are an inspiration for me, so I'm not always interested in the score if I have created an image I like very much :) |

LOL... They don't quite realize that if everyone gets a one then their vote doesn't count (except their pic gets a slight boost).
I often wonder about people trying manipulate scores on this site. To be honest, I go by the non-participant score at the end. I also dig the comments.

Hmm, well I wasn't expecting much... the voting pattern's interesting though; started just above 5, began touching 6 around 12 votes, then down to 5.1, now back up again slightly. Sure it's only the first few votes but I _hope_ that means it's getting some high votes. That's always more rewarding than just seeing a sea of mediocrity once I look at votes received come challenge end =). |

Love what you had to say. :)
If one wants to get higher votes in DPC...here's some tips to keep in mind in your composition...
Get on a plane and find the most exotic scenery you can find (preferrably an ocean...unless you already live in such a place).
Set up a shot of a bee on a flower, complete with water drops. Make sure that something falls into some sort of liquid in this shot, catching the splash brilliantly and, if you can...throw in a very physically fit nude model or two for good measure.
LOL ;)
