Something that I get a lot at my school is pasta with no sauce.

Just noodles and bread.

I know. I just hate going out for dinner to some high end place only to have them bring me a plate with like 10 pieces on it.. What is that crap?

I wish I could remember the place I ate at in NYC. I ordered a egg salad sandwich and curley fries. It was on a regular size peice of wheat toast and cost $7.95 and another 5.95 for the fries. The sandwich was mostly wilted lettuce and they forgot to bring my fries!

The woman beside me ordered a "veggie" burger and they brought it out with bacon on it!!!

It was some dive place but a few celebrities had eaten there... Such a waste of time. I ended up going to McDonalds and bought a few McChickens...

$6 for fries???!?!?! Ouch.

Been there and done that though.. When they screw things up, depending on the place, I usually try and have them pay for my meal ;)

I like topping them with sliced fillet steak, rare. I feel it adds something to the otherwise bland flavour.

Mangerial communications?

My manager used to make me carry a pager so if something went wrong in the lab, I could be reached at any time and come in to address the problem ASAP. Now, at the time, my commute was an hour one way, so by the time I would have gotten there, it would have been wayyyyy too late for me to do anything besides take pictures of the building burning.

The pager did serve a purpose however. I would use my cell phone to covertly page myself during long boring meetings. When the pager would beep, I'd jump up, exclaim "Oh Shit!", and rush out of the meeting. Inevitably, I'd be asked later about the nature of the emergency. I'd just reply "False alarm."
