Yup-
Any of these from Lowepro can be mounted on your belt. The sliplock attachment is technically made to enable you to attach them to other Lowepro bags, but you can attach them to any belt. The thicker, the better. I've used them to attach lenses to my hipbelt while backpacking, for instance. |

Thanks Derek!
I ordered this one as I felt this one is more comfortable and easy to handle :)

Definitely- obviously it depends what size lens you're looking to carry. I've got one I use for my smaller lenses that isn't so heavy duty, but I wouldnt' want to carry my 80-200 on only my belt- I imagine the one you linked would be much better.
Glad to be of help:) |

I have a pretty sturdy canvas covered sigma lens bag that has a belt loop on it. It can be attached to any bag too I'm sure. I'm in class right now, but I'll take photo of it later. I don't need it so if you're interested in it messge me later. I had bought a used lens at a local shop and they gave it to me since they didn't have a box for the lens.

Assuming it came with the 10-20, this lens normally comes with that case when it is new. Actually, all of my Sigma lenses have been accompanied by those fitted heavy canvas and padded cases. Even my Bigma came with a giant green one. The Sigma cases seem a little bit more practical than the Nikon hardcases which come with the 28-70 and 80-200, which are sturdy but sorta seem like they're for aesthetics more than function. They're leather wrapped, which makes them more susceptible to scratches and whatnot than if they had used a different material. Nikon's design has switched over to one more similar to the Sigma cases these days, as seen with the CL-M3 case (the old one was CL-74, if you're curious). |
