Grid squares are the latitude and longitude lines on a map as they form squares, there is no way to get a box of that, In the military we would trick unsuspecting privates to go ona wild goose chase asking around for them.

A flightline is another term for a runway, but we make them think it is some sort of string...

The Grade of the rank First Sergeant is "E-8" there is a PRK-8 which is a radio, but if you say it, it sounds like "Prick E-8" Funny if they are asking a First Sergeant for it...

Vehicle's turn signals (sometimes called blinkers) don't take any fluid.

My favorite time I got flipped off by the elderly was when a guy about 90 years old was driving and instead of the regular flip, he stuck his thumb in his mouth and simulated "inflating" his middle finger, until it was straight up. I couldn't help but bust out laughing...
