Awesome Kestrel picture! I have a few Kestrels here at work, but can't get very close to them. I'll probably do a roadtrip to the Carolina Raptor Center after I get my Rebel and learn how to use it. |

 That is funny !
Just get out the house and start shooting, something will come out :-)

Which lense did you buy? |

I was using the kit lens. 18-55mm I was panning the bird. I got a few others but not as good as some of you got.

You all have some great shots!

Very nice shots! My favorite is the black bird in the birdbath. The detail is amazing.

It feels great, smells good, sags my tripod head and has me carry its owner's manual around everywhere and all day long. I've never missed so many shots before! ;-)

I have one lens, a relatively inexpensive Tamron AF 70-300 f/4 tele-macro to do my learning with. I'll have to steal the lenses I really want. ;-)

lol while your there grab and extra for me.
I'd have no problem with a five finger lens.
I'll pay for shipping with insurance. :) The list is sure getting long. I'm going to need to win the lottery or find oil in the back yard. |
