I did a double take because the quick read I thought you said 'cow' instead of crow. LOL! O.K. I should go and get more sleep:-)

Here's the deal though- slash and blood, in my opinion, isn't cerebral enough for the literary challenge crowd, the ones that matter, (the ones with discerning tastes that we who consider ourselves above, or unable to capture the wow ribbon factor, are trying to impress, or are at least hoping to please somewhat)
But, it is expert editing, so, there is, conversely, no excuse, on the other side of the coin, for a blurry black and white with a shoehorned title implicating intellectually internalized horror- or maybe those will be the best! can't wait!

| I was really hoping to do a maelstrom shot but weather and time were short for shooting. I'm definitely looking forward to what people put together though. |

I'm convinced....because so many of you all seem to be resigned to believing to hate or fear the notion of the dreaded commonality .....there ARE no commonalities...only for those who don't look....observe...or perceive..... OR who find safety in what we "perceive" to be a commonality...community.... religion...political group....icon of feminine beauty......"we are all one" or "are we all different"? fingerprints are fingerprints...but ARE they??? only "identifiers" for scientists and law enforcement...... nana naaaaaaaaaaaaa na nana naaaaaaaaaaa na twilight zone......what if fingerprints are submicroscopic communities of invisible aliens.....or bacterial racetracks????(cough cough...clearing throat)...yes well getting back to the idea.......fingerprints are different.....wait it's birds....RAVENS>>>>>>???????
the challnge I>M>O> SHOULD be RAVENS!!! or hmmmmm..."NEVERMORE"........ I would love to see a challenge with a one word description.....even if it would be the same word for everyone I would look forward to the originality...... it should be second nature for all to be original as possible....should come naturally?????don't you think? besides I was telling a friend today....I never wanted to be a production potter......and I would challenge the notion of having a personal style..........I STILL try different things every day
Thanks for the challenge........I wasn't sure how I was going to do the Telltale Heart...or Cask of whatever...alllllllllllll of which scarred (yes..that too!!) scared the CRAP outta me when I was in 7th grade.......
bring on the birds!!!! but I wont stay up til midnight to look and see..........
and my excuse is....I love to paint AND do pottery but this one fellow got me hooked on this site and I am pretending to like photography......damn it.....and havent done more than four paintings in a whole year!!!!!!!!!! photography for Christmas presents? Anyone like birds shots?....how bout in the snow...with Holly Wreaths? Happy Holidays????? I know....Raven cutouts....placemats..laminated decopage (sp???) (ewww) reprints....multicopies of thousands of ravens for wall paper...scar the shit of your babies.....I'm thinking I should have never started...and probably will never post a thought again...........ok thoughts. |
