Ok, So I want to be clear that I'm not complaining about the score. Besides the point that the picture was not considered candid, as point out by the comments and even one of the teammates (I should learn to leasten, righ?). The point is, sometimes I know exactly what's wrong with a picture, however with this one, there is something not quite right, but I'm not sure what it is... so I would really appreciate any feedback on it. Thanks

Interesting comments, thank you guys, So even though this other wouldn't be considered Candid either (Before posting in the challenge, I had the idea that Candid was just a non posed picture), is it better than the other one?

Dand, there he is again, with his left foot and hand forward at the same time. That poor guy doesn't know how to walk! :-O

Lol, My husband point that out about his pose on both pictures.

For what is worth, I do like the photograph. It seems to me it portraits well the drive and the istrionism (is there such a word?) of the artist.

The only thing is that it doesn't quite look like a candid, particularly because performers on stage are actually acting and posing all the time. There is quite a long thread somewhere else about what people think a candid is or should be. Personally, I think the most typical and best kind of candid is one that gives the viewer the feeling of being an unobserved observer, where the subject not only appears unaware of being observed, but also one that gives an intimate glimpse into what the subject is or does :)

It is interesting that one of the most intimate forms of photography actually requires suggesting a detachement between the photographer/viewer and the subject.

In this sense, for instance the yellow ribbon

strikes me as a well captured example of street photography but not quite as a candid (just out of clarity, its not a criticism).

Same here:

One good example of what I mean for candid is certainly the winning image, but even more so this:

and this one:

Thank you for the examples. I have a better idea now of what is considered a "Candid" thanks to you guys!.

By the way, you just made me go back to my own Street Photography pictures and take a second look at them to see if they are or not "Candid".

Well, that's my own definition of candid, I expect many others to disagree.
But glad if it helped somehow :)
