Yes, it's ongoing, been on the go since April 2009. Has had a bit more interest recently |

Most of my people shots were taken out of a coach, it's quite dangerous to point your camera in Manila at some folks if you were on the street. My husband spotted these kids, there was a mixed bag of young girls with tiny children, they seemed homeless, what an eye opening trip, surely worth visiting if only once. THis was our second time, to the Philippines, but first trip to Manila, glad we saw it, good to show the kids.

During World War II, Corregidor played an important role during the invasion and liberation of the Philippines from Japanese forces. Heavily bombarded in the latter part of the war, the ruins left on the island serves as a military memorial to several American, Filipino and Japanese soldiers who served or lost their lives on the island. Corregidor is one of the important historic and tourist sites in the country.

We walked through this tunnel and they put on an show for us which lasted 30 mins, with the sound of bombs going off as well. All very exciting.  |
