You have no clue who actually gives you what vote.

Hmmm...you guys don't seem to happy with the guessing that has been done.
I find it very difficult to know what people want sometimes.
In the "fool the viewer" challenge, the aim seemed to be that everyone guessed if the photograph was faked or not. I remember Wendy saying that I should express my guesses.
Now, in the abstract...from the looks of it, it disturbs some people that guesses are made.
I made some guesses but I think that I'll remove them all.

| LOL, don't remove guesses, lol. I had a few guesses on mine and that's fine. It means it was abstract enough that they wanted to venture a guess.....a guess.......but they weren't correct, lol. |

Looks like we are being equally hammered, small consolation.
In hindsight entering a crisp, sharp eye candy abstract that is not identifiable would (will?) win this. |

| I can recognize a crumpled black and white capsicum from a mile and still call it abstract. It doesn't need to be unrecognizable to be abstract. BUT.... For this challenge, we were all tasked to take an abstract photo of something unrecognizable... I guess my image did not deliver that.... Looking forward to the next challenge.. |

Up a bit today and some great comments and a fave. I'm pretty happy although I'm still hoping it crawls it way back up to a 6 where it once was. This may end up being a "smallest violin" candidate when all is said and done. That is if the bottom doesn't fall out from beneath it.

While my score is a bit above 6, I find myself envying your 9 comments and 1 favorite. Your image is doing a much better job evoking a reaction from the voters. Nice job. One of my bigger concerns regarding my photography: my images are decent technically but do little to move the viewer. |
