I am driving myself crazy waffling back and forth, back and forth, so I have decided to make a preemptive move against myself by publishing this image here so I won't be able to use it for my September Free Study image. The one I'm actually entering has nothing to do with this, they are poles apart.

There! I've done it! Feel free to post your own self-preemptive image here if you're having the same sort of problem :-)

So, Bear, what got you all turned off about this image?
It's a good one.
And the hardship! The hardship! Rising before breakfast to get it!
Did you not take that into account?
:)

I thought about doing both of them before I posted in other threads...

Instead I am doing something completely different. :)

Nothing. I think it's beautiful. I hate that I'm not entering it. But I have another shot I'd hate myself even more if I didn't enter, even though it won't score as well as I bet this one would have...

I have nothing to post. Here, or in the free study. : - (

I'm not into Free Studies.... I'm just glad to see that Robert is well enough to worry about which photograph not to enter into a free study :-) Glad to hear that his head isn't occupied with things of a much more serious nature.

Aw, you screwed up Bear. That shot is awesome and you should have entered it into the Free Study. Too late now though, you've already ruined anonymity. Oh well, next shot, next month.

You're always so impulsive.

edit to add: I definitely won't enter this into the Free Study

Yeah but I'm not asking for "how would it do", I'm just taking out an insurance policy against my own impulsiveness by posting an image publicly. Since a free study can be literally anything, I dopn't see how this works agaist anything serious :-)

Anyway, let 'em shut it down, I'm exposed :-)

It truly is a good shot Bear.

While visiting Robert, I shot one also while we were there for the sunrise, though not as dramatic as his, I still like it. I also am not using it for my FS. I didn't share it in my Cape Cod shots before as I thought Bear was entering his.

Like G. Coulson said, needed a little something more to kick it over the top, so I decided to import a gull :-)

Robert I've seen the other and this one doesn't touch it. The right and righteous choice.

This is not my entry, too!

My entry won't score high, but just had to enter it!

Love the shot, but not enough to trash my free study marathon odds. :)

This is the one that I was stupid about and posted in another thread (before I realized that I was low on free study potentials...)

That gull shot is incredible. Would have been a winner in my book.
