Got an early birthday present today for my next business. I'm all set with hat, safety glasses, and I even got nose plugs to keep the sawdust out.

Yeah, but this is how you're going to look out in public. Residents...lock your doors! ;)

Oh, totally. And forget the "slippy", look at the whole name: "Strike! Slip! Oops, there goes the right leg!"

I don't know what he expects to get done with that wimpy little thing -- I would have expected him to start out with a V-6 model at least, or maybe a Harley if going for the extra-cool ... |

Wheeee, video of my first start !
Notice my attention to safety gear. The wife is laughing at me in the background when I don't get it going on the first few pulls. :-(

...same here, just an accident looking for a place to happen. On the good side, Slippy's car is an automatic (I think)... he would not really need his left foot to drive himself to the hospital. :O)

LOL, it's a stick ! The wife has an automatic, but she wouldn't let me get in if I was going to cause a bloody mess. I will gear up when I start carving, though. If you look closely, you can see my painted toe nails, compliments of my older daughter and the wife.

Where else but DPC can a demented Canadian morph a thread from chainsaws to polka-dotted toenails without even trying?

...Well, that does make a difference. The hardened polish should add a layer of protection against that chainsaw... EH Slippy.

I worry that breathing the acetone fumes during aplication will kill enough (of any remaining) brain cells to negate any such advantage ... :-( |
