I downloaded the information extractor, but cannot find film speed (ISO) anywhere in the information. I'd like to submit a picture but I need that information.

Thanks

if you used auto then put auto but on most cameras you can set it. On my G2 I have it set to 50 ISO but only on manual settings in which case i have control over everything.

You don't have to have that info to submit a photo. I never submit that info.

well... people should submit that info. it would be nice for other people who are learning to see what settings a person used to achieve the look of their photo.

i have my G3 set to 50, because anything above that usually just adds a nasty colored speckle to my photos. so i never have to guess.

It probably should be required. I think taking the extra couple seconds to provide this information is a courtesy to the users of this site, especially since so many people view this as a place to learn. Being able to see the shutter speed and aperture that a photo was taken at can be very helpful. I also always appreciate when the photographer takes the time to put even a little bit of info about their shot in the "Photographer's Comments" section. I'm always a bit disappointed when it just says "N/A" as if to say "I'm not telling you!" =]
