It's all the way you sell it Nick. I'm sure you've been prescribed an exercise program? Recommendations of walking? Well, what better inducement to get you up and about and doing as you're told than to get out taking some pics??
Seriously tho, glad to hear all went well. You'll now be able to safely endure the stress associated with watching the Wallabies beat the All Blacks in the World Cup. :) |

I use it more than my DSLR's these days, dont have to carry loads of gear when I am out.

You sound in good spirits, and after a heart surgery, the mental is probably as important as the physical. That being said, go get the camera that you want. You live but once, and thats why they make tripods...to hold the big heavy expensive cameras ! |

I'd suggest caution with this one. Sounds very similar to my recent plot of buying my son a Pentax DSLR for his birthday plus a few new lenses, so that we'd have a selection of lenses we could 'share'. Problem is, he's really gotten in to photography and now I've gotta arm wrestle him to get the lenses I want to use! And I thought I was being soooo smart! |

be careful with that...once she gets a clue about what she could be doing with what she's carrying, it won't matter how old she is ;-) |
