Hello all! I noticed after uploading a couple pictures to my portfolio that it says 25% of 100mb used. Now I know I can re-size the images one by one to save space, but is 100mb the maximum portfolio space you can take up altogether? or is this just per category? Does everyone go thru each individual pic to have it the quality/size reduced for this website? (for non challenge pics)
Sorry for all the noobie questions lol but I've been uploading full sized images to flickr for over a year and haven't run out of space so I know I'm doing something wrong here if I run outta space on day 1! haha thx again! ;o)

Welcome! and yes most images are resized to 800 pixels on the longest side. |

Yep, most all folks resize to upload. Three benefits to doing that:
- They take *way* less time to upload!
- *You* control the resizing, and thus the quality of the final product
- They load *far* faster for the user at the reduced size, and you can still upload a larger version if you wish
