(oh, and my brother once told me that I could be replaced by a dirty dishrag... I'm not quite sure how that compares with chopped liver...)

Off on holiday/vacation tomorrow. I've noted the extra names below and will add them in (with any other sign ups).
By way of a reminder from the first post in the thread, the deadline for signup is 7pm (server time) on Friday 26th August.
Of course if anybody has changed their mind in the interim, could you let me know that too.
I'll then do the pairings for the first round on the 29th.

| so rather than slug through all the posts here...we get our "assignment/challenge" on the 28th right...therefore our first official entry will be on Sep 4th...or should we be scurrying around right now...having our entries ready for this Sunday Aug 28th? |

Janine - that's exactly right. I'll make all the match pairings, collect averages, update The participants list etc and then you'll know who you are up against by Saturday and then what you are competing in on the challenge announced on the 28th.

OK - I've updated all of the participants who have expressed an interest in this.
This is a final call - anybody else who wants in needs to sign up by 7pm tomorrow. Also, anyone who has changed their mind and wants out, please let me know by 7pm tomorrow
I'll then grab everybody's average and make the pairings by making a list of all participants in an order defined by your average score reversed (least significant digit first).
Looking forward to see who I'm up against. By some fluke, I'm actually the defending champion! (There's no way for me to cheat I promise!)

Paul, i am interested of course but am away until Sept 8 so if the challenges start after that date, I am game.
Did not have the time to read the entire thread.
