In Basic Editing, are they editing that involves only one area of the picture?
So can I use tools like Sharpen to apply to the whole picture? |

yes you are correct, spot editing would be something as simple as removing a hot pixel or correcting red eye
sharpening can be done as long as it is done to the entire image and not just a portion of the image

You're allowed to use sharpen, unsharpen mask, blur and gaussian blur as long as it's applied to the whole image. |
