Somehow the thread seems to have turned into a South Florida DPC BYOB GTG.. I'm totally in btw, and am quite willing to run the whole sordid affair out of my place here in SoBe. ;)

Well then, now that we're settled, who else is in on a drink&shoot in SoBe sometime very soon?

The only issue is parking, but I've got that covered unless we need to park more than 10 cars. We'll just use tungle to Schedule it, definately some time in the next week-no need to really plan, just informal and simple.

FYI- I do believe this may be the best thread hijack I've ever pulled off... ;)

Since I don't live in Florida, and can therefore not attend, I'm going to just keep going on about the glorious beers I enjoy. This one is next up for me, snagged the only one of a very few that were available in town. mmmmmmmmmmmm

Florida? South? Sorry dude, despite the physical location, Florida is a suburb of New York City.

A fair few of my edits here have been... influenced by a beer or a few.
Could be fun! Expert editing?

Bah! Shows what you know.... Everyone knows that anything south of Ft. Lauderdale is technically South America.. In truth the joke is that Miami is the capitol of South America... I'm not even certain that it's a joke...

Firestone Walker... That either sounds like a whiskey, not a beer, or a very Native American beer name... Either way, hilarious! (looks good though!)

Oh, and speaking of entire countries - here's my pub choice here: The Democratic Republic of Beer (check out that brew list baby!) :)

Haven't seen that one around here yet, but I'll keep my eyes open. I always look for imperial stouts, so few that come through here escape my notice. Out there on the east, you've probably never had this, but the Black Butte XXIII is SUPER good, as is their Abyss. And in that same boat, I can't forget Stone's Russian Imperial Stout, one of my favorites.
If you ever get a chance, make a journey out here to Colorado. There are 5 microbreweries within a 5 minute bike ride of each other here in my home city of Fort Collins, and many, many more elsewhere in the state (and I'm not counting "those who shall not be called beer" breweries that are reside here... either..)
:)

I agree Colorado has some amazing breweries, producing some wonderful beers. This place Pinochio's Beer Garden is my local spot for editing inspiration. Sign up for their weekly newsletter if you want to drool on a weekly basis ;-)
